When BeaverTails came to us, they were well-established from sea to shining sea. But like a lot of brands, they struggled to balance their long history with engaging new, younger clients.

The ask.
Despite having a broad presence in Canada, BeaverTails wanted to make inroads that could help them grow their reach and their revenue. They required a shift to appeal to younger crowds and needed branding pieces to attract major distributors like theme parks and waterslides.
The strategy.
Once we gained an understanding of BeaverTails’ objectives, we presented them with an inventive and creative path: to pivot BeaverTails to a merchandise-rich lifestyle brand.
This included a custom ecommerce website built on Shopify, designing clothing and merchandise, as well as creating animated stop motion videos to help potential partners experience the full BeaverTails story.
We designed apparel and fresh uniforms for BeaverTails franchisees - this created new revenue streams in addition to a new brand identity. We redesigned their restaurant menus, hangtags and related materials to create an edgier, more contemporary look for a traditional brand.
Plus, we helped BeaverTails create the materials to attract the parks and waterslides that represented major financial benefits for the growing brand.
The solution.
By the time the project wrapped, BeaverTails had new revenue streams and merchandise to offer, as well as a fully functional ecommerce website and engaging ways to access new partners. HRVST helped BeaverTails attract and inspire younger audiences and helped bring them to new customers across North America.
