Earth Month is full of empty gestures. Posts go up. Nothing really changes. We wanted to do something different.

Starting in 2025, HRVST is planting one tree for every new email subscriber. We kicked things off with 3,700 trees in Kenya. Moving forward, every new tree will be planted right here in Canada – because impact should feel local, and real.

This is all powered by GoodAPI, a tool we’re stoked to partner with that makes it simple to tie everyday actions to environmental wins. With Earth Month around the corner, it felt like the right time to grow something meaningful.

The initiative

 

One subscriber = one tree

We’re growing more than a mailing list. Every time someone signs up for the HRVST newsletter, we plant a tree – no hidden costs, no extra steps. Just one simple action with a real-world result. We launched the initiative by planting 3,700 trees in Kenya – helping to restore ecosystems and support local jobs in one of the world’s most impacted regions. Now we’re bringing that impact home. Every tree planted moving forward will take root in Canada, strengthening our forests, rebuilding habitats, and keeping the mission local.
