As a fresh face on the surf scene, Surf Custom aimed to make a splash with their innovative approach to custom surfboard design. However, charting unknown waters as a startup, they needed a digital launchpad that could propel their vision into the surfing world. They sought not just a website but a dynamic, interactive platform that would resonate with the individuality and passion of surf enthusiasts. Enter HRVST – ready to paddle out and catch the big one!

HRVST dove headfirst into Surf Custom's world, starting with in-depth discovery sessions to fully grasp their vision. Our goal was to mirror the excitement and personalization of designing a custom surfboard in the digital space. We crafted a Shopify website that's not just a store, but an interactive surfboard builder built on React. By integrating Shopify's powerful back-end, we made sure the website was more than just visually appealing – it was a journey. Each step in the surfboard design process was meticulously planned, from selecting dimensions to choosing the right fins, ensuring customers could easily bring their dream board to life. We even incorporated a quiz for newcomers to start their design journey, making the process welcoming for all.
