The ask.

 

When KBD approached us in 2016, their goal was to give a face to a faceless industry. Their family-run company looked to highlight how their young team and fresh vision could reflect a younger generation’s insurance needs.

The challenge was to position insurance as essential for younger audiences. To tackle this, we devised a comprehensive strategy that included a recent rebrand, the development of a custom website and online insurance quoter, and everything in between. This powerful combination, supported by a robust SEO strategy and a focus on speed and conversions, would become the key to gaining an edge over their competition.

The strategy.

 

We focused on the young faces behind KBD, upending a traditionally faceless industry, by highlighting the personalized service offered by their young, tech-savvy team.

HRVST has continued to work on KBD’s brand and messaging, as well as built a fully custom website to reflect the younger generation’s online habits, without ignoring the needs of their existing clientele. Implementing an organic content strategy while optimizing KBD's sales funnel has become the focal point of our work for the brand – the leads have been flowing.

Furthermore, by recognizing the potential of leveraging KBD’s partnership with Intact Insurance, a leading insurance provider, we developed a fully custom web application that has revolutionized their lead generation process. Our goal was to empower potential customers to generate their own insurance quotes without the need to speak with an agent over the phone, taking their lead generation machine to the next level.

Finally, we helped their team become the voice of the company on social media. This helped shift how customers saw KBD, and provided an identity that reflected the new brand. Ultimately, we helped an inventive company in a traditional industry reflect their growing audiences in authentic ways, with messaging that put their own needs first.
