The Auberge Willow Inn has been a hospitality institution in Hudson, Quebec since 1820. After a brief closure, it reopened with new owners and a new vision. HRVST built the Willow a logo, branding and digital presence that marry classic sensibilities with contemporary aesthetics — honouring its past and securing its future.
The Willow’s relaunch is huge — including redesigned rooms, two state-of-the-art kitchens and a renovation of its iconic pub. HRVST created a visual identity that matches in scale, across digital and physical assets.
The Willow is at a crossroads: country and city. HRVST developed a neutral colour palette that appeals to both, deciding on grey, black and taupe tones that have the earthy vibes of the Hudson and the modernity of Montreal.
HRVST developed the new Auberge Willow Inn desktop and mobile site, from layout and design to full Shopify functionality, room and restaurant reservation and social media integration.
HRVST built the Willow’s branding from the ground up, creating promotional items to fill in all the blanks a new inn, pub and community hub needs.
This visual branding exercise was all encompassing, spanning menus and placemats, beer taps and caps, t-shirts, flyers, business cards, coasters, stickers, coffee cups, stationary and more.
Going outside the purview of most creative agencies, HRVST helped the Willow develop technical and managerial logistics for room bookings, cleanings and inventories.
